2. About Krewe of Hercules

Krewe of Hercules is a nonprofit Mardi Gras krewe founded in 1984, based in Houma, Louisiana. We organize parade activities, social events, fundraising efforts, and member experiences for our membership across 30 floats. Our website provides information for members, prospective members, and the community.

3. Membership

Membership in Krewe of Hercules is subject to the Krewe's bylaws, board approval, and payment of annual dues. Submitting a membership application does not guarantee acceptance.

• Applicants must meet the minimum age requirement and any additional eligibility criteria set by the board.
• Applicants under 21 require a responsible party sign-off and additional review.
• The board reserves the right to approve or deny any membership application.
• Members agree to abide by all Krewe bylaws, parade safety rules, and conduct standards.

4. Dues, Payments, and Refunds

• Annual dues amounts and deadlines are set by the board and communicated to members each season.
• Payments may be made online through our secure payment processor or in person at the den by cash or check.
• Late payments may incur additional penalties as set by the board.
• Dues, deposits, and fees are non-refundable except where required by law or specifically authorized by the board.
• Costume orders are placed with third-party vendors. Once placed, costume orders generally cannot be cancelled or refunded.

5. SMS / Text Message Program

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from Krewe of Hercules related to your membership.

• Program purpose: Membership communications including dues reminders, parade logistics, event announcements, and approval notifications.
• Message frequency: Varies based on Krewe activity and season.
• Cost: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Krewe of Hercules does not charge for the messages themselves.
• Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one final confirmation message.
• Help: Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the information at the bottom of this page.
• Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Your SMS opt-in data and consent records will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes under any circumstance.
